Three steps

How it works

1

Send us your list

Attach a BOM, Excel, or photos to the form below. The more detail (MPN, manufacturer, date code, packaging), the tighter the quote — but rough lists work too.

2

We respond in 4 working hours

Firm outright purchase price for the entire lot. No "we'll cherry-pick the high-margin parts and consign the rest." One price, take it or leave it.

3

We pay, then we collect

Payment hits your account before pickup. We arrange freight and insurance — at our cost. The components leave your dock the day after the wire clears.

What we buy

If it is MSL-sealed and traceable, we will quote it

What we buy

  • MSL-sealed reels, full or partial
  • OEM-marked components with intact packaging and verifiable date codes
  • Small lots welcome
  • Active and passive components — ICs, MCUs, memory, modules, capacitors, resistors, connectors

What we don't buy

  • Open reels
  • Used or refurbished components
  • Items without traceable origin
  • Anything where the OEM mark or date code has been disturbed

We'd rather walk away from a lot than risk our anti-counterfeit standard.

Five reasons

Why sell to Osmyum

Outright purchase — small lots welcome

Most brokers tell you to call back when you have more. We don't. If a lot is MSL-sealed and traceable, we quote it — even if it's a single reel.

4-hour firm quote

Submit before noon CET, get a price by end of day. No "give us a week to assess." We've valued enough excess to know what it's worth.

Payment before pickup — always

Wire clears, then we ship. Not the other way around. Your finance team can verify the receipt before a single component leaves the warehouse.

Pickup in 5 working days

Once you accept the offer, the truck is at your dock within five working days. No "let me check with logistics" delays.

Free on-site assessment

If you're sitting on excess and considering scrap, we'll come to your facility and assess it — no fee, no obligation, whatever the size of the lot. You'd be surprised what gets thrown away.

Stop scrapping value

15 years inside CEE electronics waste streams

Our founder spent a decade and a half watching sealed reels — perfectly good, fully traceable, MSL-protected — go to scrap because the supply chain team didn't have time to find a buyer.

That's why Osmyum exists. We come to you, we value the lot, we make an offer. Whatever you would have written off becomes revenue.

For CFOs and controllers

For your finance team

Excess inventory ties up working capital, requires storage cost, and depreciates monthly until you provision it. Outright sale converts that frozen asset to cash before quarter-end. We don't consign, we don't share margin — we buy, you book the revenue.

Most of our larger sellers' finance teams have already provisioned for the loss. The outright sale becomes pure recovered value on the P&L.

What excess stock is actually worth

The route you choose decides how much of it comes back.

Original purchase cost what you paid
Outright sale — while stock is current the most you can recover
Bulk liquidation a fraction of it
Scrap / metal recycling material value only
Write-off / destruction nothing back — plus disposal fees

Already provisioned? Every euro recovered is pure P&L gain.

Frequently asked questions

Can you quote on every component on our list?

Yes. Send the whole list — you do not need to pre-sort it or strip out the awkward lines. We price every line.

Where a part has thin resale demand, or where the condition or documentation raises a question about how it can be sold on, we will still quote — but at a scrap-level price, and we tell you which lines those are and why. If we buy, we buy the whole list. You clear the shelf in one transaction instead of being left holding the lines nobody wanted.

How do you arrive at the price? Your offer is below what we paid.

It will be, and that is not a negotiating position — it is what the part is worth on the secondary market today, which has nothing to do with what you paid for it two years ago.

Four things move the number: current demand for that exact part number, the date code, whether the packaging is intact (a sealed reel in its original MSL bag is worth materially more than the same parts loose in a bin), and what documentation comes with it. A part you bought at €1 that is now freely available from distribution will not recover €1.

We show you the reasoning line by line. And if we think a line is worth more to you than to us — because your original supplier will take it back, or because it is about to go end-of-life and will be worth more in a year — we say so.

How does payment work in practice?

Once you accept the quote, we wire the full amount to your account. We provide proof of transfer the same day. Pickup is scheduled only after the wire clears. No exceptions, no advance shipments, no "we'll pay on receipt."

Practically, this means you carry no risk on us as a counterparty: if the money is not in your account, nothing leaves your site.

Is your quote binding?

Yes, for 7 days, provided the goods match the list — part numbers, quantities, condition and packaging as you described them.

How we confirm that depends on how we collect. Where we have assessed the stock on site first, the quote is checked against material we have already seen with our own eyes, and anything that differs is settled with you before the truck is loaded. That is the cleaner route for both sides and it is why the on-site assessment is free.

Where you are shipping on the strength of the list alone, our driver cannot assess condition, packaging format or reel integrity at your gate — so we do it at ours. The pallets are sealed at your site, the seals are broken on camera at our facility, and the unpacking and count are recorded end to end. If what arrives is not what was described, we come back to you with the recording. We do not requote without evidence, and we do not requote after the fact for anything the recording does not show.

For anything above €2,000, we would rather come and look first. It is free, it takes a morning, and it removes this conversation entirely.

Is there a minimum lot size or value?

No fixed minimum. A single reel is worth sending — small lots are how most of our seller relationships start.

Below €2,000 we quote one price for the lot rather than line by line, because the line-level admin costs more than it adds. Above €2,000 you get the full line-by-line breakdown. For anything large enough that counting it is a job in itself, we come to you and assess on site, at our cost.

Will our company name be disclosed to buyers?

No. We buy outright — from the moment payment clears, the stock is ours and it is sold under our name. Your company is not named in listings, does not appear on offer sheets, and is not used as a reference or a case study without your written permission.

One thing we will not hide from you: we keep the origin documentation for every lot on file. That traceability is what protects our buyers against counterfeit material and it is not negotiable — it is the same standard that protects you when you buy. Those documents stay with us. Where a buyer of a high-value lot needs sight of them, we ask you first, and release them only under NDA and only with your written consent. If you say no, the buyer is told the origin category — "a Tier-1 automotive plant in Romania" — and nothing further.

If you want that in writing before you send us anything, we will sign a mutual NDA first.

Who counts the stock, and what happens if the quantity does not match our list?

Where we have assessed on site, we count with your warehouse team and both sides sign the count sheet before anything is loaded.

Where we collect against your list, the pallets are sealed at your site and the seals are broken on camera at our facility, with the unpacking and count recorded end to end. If the count is short we show you the recording and pay on the verified quantity. If there is more than the list said, we pay for the extra at the same unit price.

Sealed reels are taken on the label quantity either way.

What documentation do we get, and is this treated as a waste transaction?

This is a sale of goods, not a waste transfer. No waste transfer note, no EWC code, no WEEE paperwork — you invoice us, we pay, the stock changes owner.

You receive a signed pickup note listing every line and the verified quantity, signed by your warehouse and our driver before the truck leaves, plus the commercial invoice and the CMR. That is everything your finance team needs to close the line in your ERP and defend it in an audit.

If part of what you show us genuinely is scrap and cannot be sold on, we say so and it stays in your existing waste stream.

Do you handle freight and customs?

Yes. We arrange transport and insurance at our cost, and we handle customs clearance for cross-border lots inside the EU. For non-EU shipments we work with you on documentation under EU Regulation 2021/821.
